Outstanding Professionalism and Customer Service!
Found Vic on Yelp! here. The end piece of the axel above my garage door broke off this morning. I didn't have time until the afternoon to try to call and get this issue resolved. Come afternoon, I found Silicon Valley Overhead Doors on Yelp! surfing the web in my cube and called Vic. Vic promptly met me at my house right after I got off the phone. He diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed it and closed shop in an hour. He even provided recommendations on care for my garage doors and suggestions for what to do in the future. Rates were competitive and fair, but I was impressed by how professional and personal he was. Will definitely recommend him to all my friends and family in need of garage door work!

I called Vic for a garage door opener install and got a quote that was SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than the competitor's price. He was flexible with his scheduling and arrived precisely when he said he would. The install job was superbly well done. You can tell that Vic is a consummate professional when you see the care he takes in routing the wiring for your garage door opener. In addition to the install Vic also adjusted and lubricated my garage door spring and joints, then informed me of the maintenance necessary for my door. Just had a great experience with Vic fixing my garage door. When it wouldn't open this morning I went Oh, that is what that noise was last night....opps. He arrived on time, had all the supplies ready to go, and fixed it quickly. It even sounds better than before it broke.
And just today I bumped the sensor thing and messed it up-Vic came out and fixed it in literally 30 secs!

Vic is an amazing guy with a work ethic to be proud of. He came within an hr of calling and fixed my garage door spring quickly and efficiently. He laid out the costs and options before getting started so there would be no surprises. Not only did he fix my garage door, he also swept up the garage after himself, including messes he didn't make. These little touches really impressed me.

I meant to leave a review on here earlier but spaced it out. Vic is very professional and prompt, and he does excellent work. I had a garage door that was refusing to close, and he was able to quickly identify the issue and gave me a few options to fix it. I ended up going with the more expensive (but better long-term) option of replacing the mechanism, and I am so, SO happy I went that direction! Garage door closes smoothly and is much quieter than before, and I now have the wifi-enabled version for added convenience. Hopefully I won't have any more problems with this one, but if I do, I know who to call.

Vic is fantastic. I found him on Nextdoor where he was heavily recommended. Awesome guy, knows his stuff. Very happy we went with him. He replaced our springs and a hinge and he fixed the cables. Garage door is working perfectly now.
